Rentar Development Corp. is a fully integrated management and development company, having developed all their commercial properties from the ground up and managed them from the inception. The current portfolio consists of approximately 1,600,000 square feet of industrial and retail space. Additionally, we have developed over one million square feet of condominiums, high end single family homes and an additional 1,000,000 square feet of retail and industrial space which has been sold.

Our projects embrace virtually every type of real estate: commercial, residential, retail, industrial- and virtually every real estate function: development, management, leasing and financing.

A history of the properties shows a steady upgrading. Creative releasing programs, by recycling industrial into retail and the subdividing of spaces, have increased cash flow and value to the properties. Our construction management team helps transform and deliver spaces on time and on budget. Rentar Development Corp.'s in-house management team has been the critical component and is an active property manager for our entire portfolio. Large scale industrial/warehouse and retail space in the New York Metropolitan area in the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens has become the focus of Rentar's development and management efforts.

In 1965 Flatlands Urban Industrial Park was 100 acres of unimproved land in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn with no infrastructure. Rentar leased the land from The City of New York and erected, leased and  privately financed 1,800,000 square feet of industrial space to various tenants for distribution centers and manufacturing.

Rentar has proven a unique ability of converting industrial space to power center retail space. Rentar Plaza in Middle Village, Queens, is a flourishing innovative 1,567,000 square foot facility originally constructed in 1972 as an innovative 3 level structure with roof top and rear parking for 1,700 cars, served by a system of car and truck ramps with direct truck loading on each level.

Today, Rentar has a strong industrial and retail tenant base, such as The City of New York, Raymour & Flanigan, BJ's Wholesale Club, Abco HVAC Supply and Trader Joe’s.
