NEWS: Renovation & Rebranding at The Shops at Rentar Plaza

The Shops at Rentar Plaza (formerly the Metro Mall) is undergoing a comprehensive transformation, bringing a fresh, modern look to both the exterior and interior of the shopping center. With renovations underway, we're focused on creating an inviting environment that enhances the shopping experience for both tenants and visitors.

Key updates include:

• New Exterior Façade: A sleek and modern design that improves curb appeal and creates a more welcoming entrance.

• Landscaping Improvements: Thoughtful landscaping enhances the overall atmosphere and creates a greener, more attractive environment.

• New Pylon Signs: Two large new pylon signs—one at the NW corner of Metropolitan Ave. and one on the shopping center façade—will increase visibility and attract more foot traffic.

• Interior Overhaul: A complete renovation of the interior space that will feature modern finishes and a more open layout with new storefronts, floors and lighting.

• Elevator Upgrades: Two large-capacity elevators are being installed to improve accessibility, alongside the refurbishment of existing freight and pedestrian elevators for faster and easier access to the mezzanine level.

• 700 Spot Free Parking Lot: Ample parking for both customers and employees, with no charge to park.

• Prime Public Transportation Access: Convenient access to the M-train and two major bus lines that stop directly in front of the shopping center.

Open and operating are BJ’s Wholesale Club, Fitnation, Eyeworld Optical, and VJ’s Wine & Liquor. We are in negotiations with a diverse mix of both national and local businesses to further enhance our tenant lineup. Most recently signed lease is Catch Air, a unique 18,000 SF interactive children's indoor play center.
